WorkAble combines the skills and efforts of local 
non-profits to provide holistic career counseling and coaching to unemployed residents of Allegheny County. The program is free for those who qualify.

WorkAble has program sites in the North Hills, East Side and South Hills.  You may choose the location that’s most convenient for you.

Our Partners
Each of our partner organizations provides vital social services and assistance to those in need:

The Career Development Center, a subsidiary of Jewish Family & Children’s Service of Pittsburgh, has provided career services to job seekers and employers since 1984.  

North Hills Community Outreach is a  provider of services that address the needs of people in crisis, hardship and poverty, including employment needs and career counseling. 

South Hills Interfaith Movement provides resources to families struggling to achieve self-sufficiency, including both direct assistance and family support programs. 

Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh contributes to the educational attainment, economic development and cultural enrichment of the region through critical services such as job search assistance and computer and Internet access
